Five persons remanded over Kpatinga violence

A Tamale District Magistrate Court yesterday remanded in prison custody the five persons arrested in connection with the chieftaincy dispute at Kpatinga in the Gushegu municipality in the Northern Region.

The accused are Hashmin Mumanjadi, 32, a health assistant; Alidu Alhassan, 27, and Fatawu Kpanalana, 35, a farmer.

The rest are Mohamadu Dokurugu, 55, and Iddrisu Azindoi, 37, both farmers.
