The Minority in Parliament are calling for a reduction in the number of Ministers in Ghana at this difficult moment.
According to their mouthpiece, many people are losing the jobs.
They advised the President to show a good example as a leader by cutting down the number of Ministers in Ghana to probably save some cash for the state.
“In times of such difficult moments, what we expect leaders to do is to show commitment and lead by example and lead by demonstration.
Mr. Speaker, in this difficult moment, in this hard moment, when ordinary Ghanaians are sacrificing like the Minister said, when hotels, businesses are laying off workers in order to ensure that they cover their cost, this is the time for H.E. President Akuffo Addo to reduce the size of the bloated Ministers that we have in this country,” – One MP said.
He continued by adding:
“Mr. Speaker, H.E. President Akuffo Addo must demonstrate leadership. He must demonstrate commitment. He must send a signal to the people of Ghana that he is indeed in charge.”
