NPP suspends Nalerigu/Gambaga parliamentary aspirant over radio comments

The North East Regional Secretariat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has suspended a parliamentary aspirant for the Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituency from the party for misconduct.

Mr Peter Wuni Baaga is reported to have accused the Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency, Hajia Alima Mahama, on live radio of rigging the 2004 parliamentary elections of which he was the brain behind the act.
