Sharks steered themselves into the lead when Justice Mensah played through James Bissue who finished beyond the on-rushing Richmond Ayi on the 20th minute mark.

Hearts coach Kosta Papic in the post match reaction said he is not enthused with the outcome of the game and expected his side to convert the scoring chances they created.

The Phobians were in charge of the game right from the start of the game with Frederick Ansah Botchwey and Benjamin Afutu dictating playing in central midfield.

However Sharks relied on long balls Benjamin Arthur workaholically sparked things up in the midfield for the Sharks. Alhaji Mustapha and Benjamin Tweneboah had a quiet game throughout the period of the exchanges.

The Hearts defence went to bed in one moment and Sharks punished them as Justice Mensah found Bissue tearing away from the Hearts defence and he composedly volleyed past the stranded Ayi.

Hearts probed the Sharks defence but were unable to put the ball into the net on a number of occasions until Aidoo headed the ball beyond the reach of Lord Bawa in the Sharks post after the defender failed to do his job.

Kosta Papic’s Hearts have gone on 3 games without a defeat, scoring 8 goals and conceding 3 in the process.
