Ghana captain Andre Ayew has been named in the African team of the decade by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
The attacker’s share contribution to the National team earned him a spot among the best in the last 10 years.
Ayew has already made six Cup of Nations appearances with the Black Stars since making his debut for the National team in 2008.
The 31-year-old was joined on the list by Vincent Enyeama, Kalidou Koulibaly, Medhi Benatia, Ahmed Fathi, Eric Bailly and Riyad Mahrez.
The rest are Yaya Toure, Sadio Mane, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Mohamed Salah.
