Ghanaian youth winger Osman Haqi has began training with Turkish Super Lig side Yeni Malatya Spor.
The 18-year-old signed a three-and-half season contract with Yeni Malatya Spor from Ghanaian Division One League side Okyeman Planners Football Club.
Haqi, who was blocked from joining the Ghana U20 side through a systematic scheme last year, travelled to Turkey last week with President of the club George Afriyie and passed medicals before inking the deal which will keep him at the club until 2024.
Malatya Spor confirmed the deal on their official Twitter handle on the transfer deadline day and drafted the winger into their 28-man squad for the ongoing season.
Malatya Spor head coach Hamza Hamzaoğlu ushered the speedster into his squad on Tuesday afternoon as they prepare for their upcoming Super Lig game.
Haqi inspired Planners to an entertaining campaign in the truncated 2019/20 Ghanaian Division One League.
