Former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard’s Real Madrid woes continues with another long term injury sustained in his thigh as he suffers to make an impact since his mega money move to the European record holders.
The Spanish club in a statement on made available on their website states Hazard had injured a muscle in his left thigh following the day’s training session, which he was unable to complete.
“Following tests carried out today on our player, Eden Hazard, by Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the rectus femoris of his left leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed.” The statement said
Madrid in their statement did not state how long the Belgian is going to be absent but news from a reliable source’ Marca indicates he would be sidelined between four to six weeks.
Such duration would almost make it impossible for him to feature in his side’s Knockout clash against stubborn Italian giants Atalanta.
