Kotoko’s CAF Confederation Cup opponent ES Setif will touch down in the country with 31 players.
Contrary to the usual 18-20 squad Clubs normally travel with, the Algerians have opted to extend the list of players by travelling with as many as 31 players to deal with any unforeseen event amid COVID-19 fears.
Clubs have been unable to honor games upon their arrival due to players testing positive for COVID-19, with Kotoko themselves being victims after their CAF Champions League game against Al Hilal was called off with reports emerging 7 of their players had tested positive.
Setif have made arrangement to have all their registered squad members on board for the trip to Accra.
Kotoko host the North Africans in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
