France-born Ghanaian striker Grejohn Kyei headed home the equalising goal for FC Servette in their 2-2 home drawn game with St Gallen in the Swiss Super League on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old zoomed into the area to head home a well-delivered from Bosnian Miroslav Stevanovic on the 20th minute mark to cancel out the opener scored by the visitors.
Kyei, a former Stade de Reims striker, was presented with a fine opportunity to register a brace on the evening when he missed from the penalty spot.
Ghanaian goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi dived to his right to deny the striker his 8th goal of the season.
Wednesday’s goal means that he has now scored in his last two league games of the season and is currently on his best career goal form with 7 goals from 16 games.
