Ghanaian youngster Sabit Abdulai warmed the substitute bench for Getafe in their 2-0 away loss to Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga on Tuesday evening.
Sabit, 21, has already sat on the bench several times for Getafe this season but is yet to make his debut and Tuesday night’s story was no different as he watched the entire proceedings from the bench.
The Techiman-born central midfielder joined Getafe from Spanish lower-tier side Extremadura B last summer after signing a one-season contract according to Transfermarkt data.
He dreams of making his debut in the La Liga for Getafe before the end of the campaign. He has already made an appearance for the Getafe first team in the Copa del Rey competition.
Striker Karim Benzema and Ferland Mendy scored the goals for Real Madrid who have now moved second temporarily.
