Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Rodney Antwi scored the opening goal for Wadi Degla in their 3-1 home triumph over National Bank Egypt in the Egypt Cup on Thursday.
The 25-year-old fired the host into the lead with a 21st minute effort and his side went ahead to claim a vital victory which has now propelled them to the quarter finals of the competition.
Antwi, born in Amsterdam, joined Degla last season after leaving Bulgarian side Tsarsko Selo.
He is a former player of FC Utrecht.
