Hearts of Oak board member Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has reacted angrily to claims by Serbian trainer Kostadin Papic that some board members interfered in his job.
The politician-cum-football administrator has insisted the allegation levelled against board members Alhaji Brimah Akanbi and Vincent Odotei Sowah are untrue.
Papic alleged in a leaked audio according to Dr Tamakloe that the two board members interfered in his job and went ahead to cite issues of lack of cooperation from his players.
“I learnt he is still around. He should come out and make those claims. If Akanbi or Odotei had been interfering in his job he should come out and say it. I have no time for such nonsense. I have seen coaches before,” he said during a press conference organised by the board of directors on Wednesday.
Papic resigned from his role as head coach of Hearts of Oak earlier this week while assistant coach Joseph Asare Bediako, Goalkeepers’ coach Ben Owu and Team Manager Sylvester Saban Quaye.
