Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold have parted ways with Serbian trainer Milovan Cirkovic on mutual consent, according to sources within the club.
The 65-year-old met with the Miners President Dr Kwaku Frimpong, popularly known as Champion, on Tuesday and the parties mutually agreed to end the relationship between the parties.
Cirkovic replaced Italian Roberto Landi before the start of the Ghanaian season but has finally left the club.
Former Ghana international Thomas Duah who worked as Cirkovic’s assistant coach will take temporary charge of the dugout until a permanent head coach is appointed.
Cirkovic led AshantiGold to 7th place on the 2020/21 league table, winning 5 out 15 games, drawing 6 and losing 4.
