Hearts of Oak supporter Al Talal was picked up by the Osu Divisional Police for planting black magic in the team bus of Asante Kotoko during Sunday’s Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.
A handful of Kotoko fans lodged a complaint to the stadium police after spotting a dead pigeon in their team bus.
According to their investigations the Hearts of Oak fan planted the dead pigeon in their team bus as a charm to help ‘weaken’ Kotoko in their 3pm kick off against their biggest rivals.
Upon receiving the complaints the police arrested the Hearts of Oak fan and detained him in their custody until the end of the game.
Speaking to Andy Obeng Kwaku on Accra-based Asempa FM Al Talal confirmed that he was arrested and detained throughout the period of the game which ended in a 0-0 drawn game.
“I was detained at the police station and was not allowed to the watch the game because some Kotoko fans reported me to the police that I have planted juju in their bus,” he said.
Both team squandered penalties in the game which is the biggest on the Ghanaian calendar.
