King Faisal sole owner Alhaji Grusah has confirmed that the Ghana Premier League side have listened to offers from giants Hearts of Oak and Dawu-based Dreams FC.
Hearts, Kotoko and Dreams have been hotly on the wheels of Peprah who has notched 9 league goals in 17 outings for this King Faisal this season.
The Phobians have signed signed Ibrahim Salifu from XI Wonders and wish to add the striker to their pool of players this season as new coach Samuel Boadu seeks to capture the league title for the Phobians.
“Hearts and Dreams FC officially wrote to us requesting for negotiations to open for Kwame Peprah. But, for Kotoko there has been nothing officials from them. As a result we have discussed our expectations regarding the transfer of the player. Very soon we will announce where Peprah would be playing next season,” he told Dan Kwaku Yeboah on Peace FM.
Kotoko, aware of Faisal’s stance, have already began negotiations with second-tier side Bofoakwa Tano to sign striker Takyi Welbeck who has scored 9 goals in 11 games in the Zonal Division One League this season.
Dreams FC, one of the emerging giants of Ghanaian football – have the financial muscle to sign the player, but they have also been given the same response as Hearts and Kotoko.
Meanwhile Ghana Sports Online understands that Dreams have started working closely behind the scenes with the agency that owns the player’s economic rights and represents him in all contract negotiations to map up a strategy on how to sign the player when his contract ends with King Faisal.
Peprah has scored 11 goals in 30 games for King Faisal in two seasons.
