Ibrahim Tanko names 20-man home-based squad to face Uzbekistan in friendly duel

Black Stars B head coach Ibrahim Tanko has named 20 home-based players to engage Uzbekistan in an international friendly next week.

The former Cameroon and FC Koln assistant manager has handed invitation to two players from Kotoko and Hearts each.

Hearts shot-stopper Richard Attah has been called alongside his teammate Daniel Afriyie Barnie who scored a brace to help Ghana lift the 2021 U20 AFCON tournament in Mauritania.

Asante Kotoko have Christopher Nettey, Ibrahim Imoro and Yussif Mubarik.

Other players in the squad include Dreams FC’s Precious Boah, Agyenim Boateng, Joseph Addo of Aduana Stars while Vision FC goalkeeper William Essu has also made the squad.

Joseph Adjei, Konadu Yiadom, Dennis Korsah, Samuel Ashie, Justice Blay, Moro Salifu, Michel Otu, Rashid Nortey, Maxwell Abbey Quaye.

Striking pair of Kwame Peprah and Diawisie Taylor have been included in the team.
