Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have sharply rubbished reports claiming they have reported their former coach Samuel Boadu to the Ghana FA over breach of contract.
Kumasi-based Pure FM reported that Boadu and his former assistant Hamza Obeng would have to cough up to $22,500 for breach of their separate contracts during their spells at the club.
But, in a sharp reaction Medeama Communications head Patrick Akoto has denied the reports insisting the former CAF Confederation Cup campaigners have not taken any such move.
“Disregard the reports. Medeama have not reported anybody [Samuel Boadu and Hamza Obeng] to the FA,” he reacted to the tweet by Pure FM.
Samuel Boadu replaced Kosta Papic at Hearts as the new head coach during the first week of March 2021 after reportedly seeing out his contract while Obeng has been strongly linked with a move to the club as the new assistant trainer.
