Boadu joined Hearts in the first week of March 2021 after reportedly seeing out his contract but fresh reports claim that he has been reported to the Ghana FA for breaching his contract.

Additionally the club has also reported former assistant trainer Hamza Obeng for a similar offense and are asking him to pay GHS37,500 for breaching his contract.

Hamza, who worked as Boadu’s No. 2 during his days at Medeama, has also been strongly linked with a move to Hearts as the new assistant coach.
