FC Strasbourg defender Alexander Djiku has thrown support behind the Black Stars ahead of Thursday’s Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
The defender could not honor the game due to restrictions on France-based players who are being refused to join their respective countries due to Covid 19 fears.
Djiku however sent a goodwill message to the team ahead of the crunch game.
“Sad not to be with my Black Stars brothers now, but I give you all my strength @ghanafaofficial,” he tweeted.
Ghana will need to avoid defeat to South Africa to enhance their chances of making it to the Cup of Nations.
