Ghana Youth goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim is disappointed at claims leveled against him about age cheating.
The 18-year-old has already come through the youth ranks playing for both the Ghana U17 and U20 teams.
Danlad represent the country at U17 level in 2017 and has gone on to feature for the U20 side 4 years later.
The Kotoko goalkeeper is unhappy about accusations indicating he is not using the right age.
“In 2017 at the U 17 world cup, while I was fighting for my country, my own people back home were accusing me of age cheating on,” he told Starr FM.
“It really affected me and it showed in our game against Mali which I even made a mistake and we got eliminated from the competition”
He earned himself a call-up to the Black Stars team for the upcoming Cup of Nations qualifiers after emerging as the best goalkeeper at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations early this Month.
