Ghana’s Black Stars B lost 2-1 to Uzbekistan in an international friendly on Friday.
The Black Stars looked unsettled early in the game and found themselves at the wrong side when goalkeeper Joseph Addo’s misplaced pass went straight to Otabek Shukurov who made no mistake to put the host ahead.
The Black Stars after conceding came to light and enjoyed a fare share of the possession.
Uzbekistan however looked more purposeful upfront as they created numerous opportunities but for the alert figure of goalkeeper Joseph Addo.
Ghana looked brighter in the second half and got the equalizer in the 73rd minute.
Youngster Abdul Fatawu Ishahaku scored from a free kick after taking a powerful drive from 25 yards.
That was however short lived after Jaloliddin Masharipov capitalized on yet another blunder when Michel Otoo gave the ball away to score the second and much-winner for Uzbekistan.
Uzbekistan used the game as preparation ahead of their World Cup qualifiers.
